Course Summary
This course provides the fundamentals to deploy JEE and Spring SSO-enabled applications in mid size and high-end environments, covering the most common scenarios of authentication and their realization.
The course provides an overview of identity management (IdM), and particularly Single Sign-On (SSO), focusing on the JOSSO architecture and how to configure, secure and tune a deployment.
Then, it moves on to more advanced topics related to leveraging JOSSO extensibility facilities where participants learn how to refine existing components and create their own, consolidate identity sources and authentication mechanisms of their specific execution environment.
Finally, the course analyzes from the ground up a feature-full reference JOSSO deployment for seeing realized the essential topics covered during the course.
