Single Sign-On for Mission-Critical Web Services

Unisys is a worldwide information technology services and solutions company. It combines expertise in systems integration, outsourcing, infrastructure, server technology and consulting, focusing in six primary vertical markets worldwide: financial services, public sector, communications, transportation, commercial and media.

FALCON is a state-of-the-art system used by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to identify criminal suspects and report data. Unisys offered to provide them with a Single Sign-On solution, making it easier and more efficient for authorized users to access this home-grown and third-party application. The company required a system that would guarantee secure access to FALCON’s applications by authorized criminal justice users and officers, while streamlining the process and increasing user-friendliness. Once authenticated, authorized users should be able to securely browse all of FALCON’s mission-critical biometric identification applications.
